Dr Batool Nadim is passionate about caring for women during their pregnancy.  Batool is highly experienced in managing different types of high-risk pregnancies, including, twins, high risk caesareans and other medical conditions that may occur during the birth of your baby.

Dr Nadim is a consultant obstetrician with visiting rights at Norwest Private Hospital in Bella Vista and Hawkesbury District Health Service in Windsor New South Wales, making it accessible for people in Norwest Western Sydney. Batool cares for Women during labour by organising the delivery suite midwives at Norwest Private Hospital or Hawkesbury District Health Service Windsor, where Batool will be present with you for the birth of your baby. Should you require extra assistance during the birth, such as instruments or a caesarean section, Batool will be by your side to take control as required. After delivery, Batool will provide postnatal care and organise any appropriate follow-up appointments. Batool’s looks after the well-being of her patients by organising an anaesthetist 24/7. If you deliver your baby with Dr Batool Nadim, you do not need to worry about asking about pain relief during labour.

Dr Batool Nadim Antenatal care looks after your health and the health of your baby during your pregnancy so she can find and treat any concerns early on.

Postnatal Care

Dr Batool Nadim offers postnatal care after the birth of your baby. Postnatal care is available for private and public hospital patients.

Gynaecology Services

Dr Batool Nadim is a Sydney based Gynaecologist with admitting rights to Norwest Private Hospital, Hawkesbury Hospital and Blacktown Hospital.

 

Laparoscopy

Dr Batool Nadim is an experienced laparoscopic surgeon who uses minimally invasive procedures to examine and treat women facing gynaecological issues. Batool has advanced skills in hysterectomies and endometriosis.

 

Contraception Implants

Implanon and Mirena are different types of contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. Implanon prevents pregnancy for up to 3 years and a Mirena for up to 5 years. Insertion of these implants can be done at rooms with minimal discomfort

Colposcopy

A colposcopy is a procedure that looks for changes in the cells of the vagina, cervix and vulva of women who have had a Pap smear. Dr Batool Nadim will use an optical colposcope to look for abnormal cells and for precancerous changes that can become cancer.

Abnormal Pap Smear (CST)

A Pap Smear or Cervical Screening Test (CST ) looks for infection with certain Viruses namely Human Papillomavirus (HPV ) with or without associated abnormal cells on your cervix.  A Pap test is the best way to prevent cervical cancer.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition where the lining of your uterus (endometrium) grows outside of the uterine cavity. It is associated with chronic pelvic pain, infertility and menstrual cycle abnormalities.

Fertility & Sub-Fertility

1 in 6 Australian couples of reproductive age experiences fertility problems. Proper assessment and investigation will provide the optimal way to find a solution in a timely manner.

Ultrasound Services

Dr Batool Nadim is a qualified sonologist who performs high level (tertiary) ultrasound in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Ultrasound services are provided for women at Norwest Private Hospital rooms.

 

Endometriosis Ultrasound

Dr Batool Nadim is an accredited Sonographer to carry out scans for Endometriosis. During the scan the bladder and kidneys will be examined to look for diseases in the pelvis.

HyCoSy Ultrasound

A Hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography (HyCoSy) is an assessment of fertility.

The HyCoSy test look at the fallopian tubes for any blockages and gives Batool an idea of the integrity of your other pelvic organs namely the uterus and ovaries.

Saline Infusion Ultrasound

The procedure Saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS or SHG) evaluates the uterus and the shape of the uterine cavity looking for unexplained infertility, and recurrent miscarriage.

Endometriosis

Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE) is associated with more severe pain and infertility. This test investigates the nodules that can be seen during the transvaginal DIE ultrasound. The test allows Batool to plan the best surgical approach for the management of your endometriosis.

Pregnancy Ultrasound

This Ultrasound is used during pregnancy to monitor the baby’s development. It picks up any abnormalities and the presence of multiple pregnancies (more than one embryo in your uterus (womb).

3D/4D Ultrasound

4D ultrasound presents a 3-dimensional picture in real-time 3D/4D ultrasound is used to diagnose a wide variety of abnormalities both in Obstetrics and Gynaecology specific fetal anomalies such as cleft lip and limb abnormalities. Congenital anomalies of the uterus and intrauterine pathologies like fibroids or septum.

Dr Batool Nadims room is located in Suite 106, Level 1, Building C, Norwest Private Hospital, 9 Norbrik Drive, Bella Vista, NSW 2153. Enter the lift to level one, exit the list to your left and walk to the end of the corridor.

Parking

Parking is available in the car park located on the ground level and in the basement of the hospital. Travel by Bus A bus stop is located at the front entrance of the hospital and is serviced by Route T64 between Parramatta, Bella Vista and Rouse Hill.  Timetables are available online at www.cdcbus.com.au and by calling 13 15 00.
